Nadine (Stylist / Owner) – For many years I’ve been the one and only “Boss of My Hair”; no less will do! As we all know, there are days that our hair is the most important accessory. In other words, good hair and a big smile conveys “I’m special!” I’ve owned and operated Blades for 25 years. I was raised in Australia, but have resided in Tucson for the past 30 years. I was educated at the Allure College of Beauty in Tucson and the Sebastian School in California. Moreover, I have attended workshops and seminars in Australia, California and Arizona.
Hooti (Stylist) — I’ve been a stylist for 18 years and have worked in Tucson, Phoenix and New York City. I was educated at the Carsten Institute for Hair and Beauty (Aveda) in Tempe, AZ. In addition, I’ve taken continuing education classes at Libs in New York, wherein I specialized in all aspects of make-up (as a student and educator) and at Toni & Guy. Finally, I’m also employed at the Arizona Opera Co (AOC) in the wig and make-up department. Between Blades and AOC, I must admit, “I kick ass!”
